Boynton Woman Admits To Swiping Jewelry From Boyfriend?s Sister?s Home While Babysitting, Police Say

The woman said that, while she was trying to locate a pair of missing earrings, her brother called and said he found Devita had several pieces of jewelry that he knew did not belong her. The man showed his sister photos of the jewelry wholesale cheap jewelry and she positively identified it as hers. The siblings later confronted Devita, the report said. Devitas boyfriend retrieved the jewelry from a bedroom and asked for an explanation. Devita looked at a ring and explained that she found it on a counter, the report said. When further questioned, Devita reportedly told the siblings that she sold the rest of the jewelry.
